Shelley Chapin

Shelley Chapin, M.Ed., is a doctoral candidate in special education at Penn State. She is an educational consultant for Early Intervention Technical Assistance (EITA), as well as the CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early” ambassador to Pennsylvania. Shelley’s research focuses on supporting early communication opportunities for very young children with autism spectrum disorders and complex communication needs using augmentative and alternative communication technology.
