Caitlin Kirkwood earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) in 2015 under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Bachmeyer. During her time at UNCW, Caitlin worked as a graduate research assistant and clinical coordinator for the Feeding and Behavior Lab. In 2015, Caitlin started her doctoral training in applied behavior analysis at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s (UNMC) Munroe-Meyer Institute. She worked as a primary therapist and graduate research assistant in the intensive day treatment and outpatient programs within the Pediatric Feeding Disorder program. During her predoctoral internship, she served as a case manager in the day treatment program under the supervision of Dr. Cathleen Piazza. During her training at UNCW and UNMC, she conducted research on the assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders and caregiver training. Caitlin has served as the first author and co-author of publications in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, book chapters, and training manuals. She has presented at local, state, and national conferences on the assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders. She is now completing her postdoctoral degree at the Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health, a training clinic for UNCW students, under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Bachmeyer.
