Lynda Lupp

Lynda A. Lupp began her career as a special education teacher in 1994 following graduation from Millersville University. She has taught special education in public school to diverse disability groups at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. After receiving her master's degree and principal certification from Temple University, she went on to serve as an elementary assistant principal and elementary coordinator of special education in a small rural district. Later, she began her career in state administration serving as a Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education, adviser and division chief. She served at the state level for eight years, where she was a liaison to the Special Education Advisory Panel, had oversight of the statewide contingency funds, and was the contact for statewide assessment for students with disabilities. In 2012, she returned to public education, serving as the director of Special Education in the 14th largest district in Pennsylvania. In the fall of 2016, Lupp returned to her work supporting statewide assessment for students with disabilities. She is employed through PaTTAN and serves as the Statewide Special Education Assessment coordinator with a focus on the alternate assessment.
